Pushpa 2 star Sreeleela to romance with Kartik Aaryan in Anurag Basu’s next? Here’s what we know

The Kissik girl Sreeleela is making waves in Bollywood. She is all set to star opposite Kartik Aaryan in the romantic film which was originally envisioned as Aashiqui 3. The director Anurag Basu’s search for the lead female actor on Sreeleela has finally come to an end, albeit an official announcement has not yet been made.

She has been in talks about the project and is excited to be a part of her second Bollywood film already as per a source close to India Today. Following Triptii Dimri’s exit, the movie gained a lot of attention for reasons that only the film’s crew knows.

The source revealed, “Anurag Basu’s next is already generating a lot of buzz, and the speculation around the cast only adds to the excitement. It is said that Sreeleela – the south sensation – is all set to be paired opposite Kartik Aaryan. It will be an interesting pairing to watch out for.”

Sreeleela is eager to start this new romantic journey in her profession, and her staff is searching for ways to soon make a big announcement, as per the sources.

On the work front, the 23-year-old was last seen in Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 as she performed a dance number which gained a lot of attention. She is also making her Bollywood debut opposite Ibrahim Ali Khan in a project produced by Maddock Films. The duo are often snapped together in Mumbai during the script-reading session of the film.

Earlier, Anurag stated that he was going to begin the shooting of the film in March. He also mentioned in the same interview that the team was going to lock the female lead in a week’s time.
